The basic working principle of the input type liquid level gauge is the static pressure level measurement. In a liquid medium, the pressure at a certain depth is caused by the weight of the medium itself above the measurement point. Where P = pressure, ρ = medium density, g = gravitational acceleration, h = depth of the measurement point.
