When measuring the pressure of a flowing medium. The pressure taking point should be perpendicular to the flow direction. The inner end of the pressure pipe and the inner wall where the production equipment is connected should be level and free of protrusions or burrs;
It should be selected in the section of the pipe where the measured medium flows in a straight line, and not in the bend, branch, dead angle or other places where vortices are likely to form;
When measuring liquid pressure, the pressure taking point should be in the lower part of the pipeline so that no gas will accumulate in the pressure guiding tube; when measuring gas pressure, the pressure taking point should be above the pipeline so that no liquid will accumulate in the pressure transmitter's pressure guiding tube;

When the measured medium is easy to condense or freeze, it is necessary to install a heat tracing pipeline.
The pressure pipe should be installed horizontally with an inclination of 1: 10-1: 20 to facilitate the discharge of the liquid (or gas) stored in it.
