1.Scarring and frequent malfunction of the probe
We can increase the installation position of the probe. In the case of inconvenience due to the limitation of the installation conditions, we can also use the method of interlocking the measured value of the material level with the pump in the tank to solve this problem and set the highest material level Decrease by about 0.5m. When the material level reaches the highest value, you can stop the feed pump or start the discharge pump.
2.Level meter antenna scarring
Hanging materials with a small dielectric constant have no effect on the measurement in a dry state, but hanging materials with a high dielectric constant have an impact on the measurement. In this case, compressed air can be used to purge (or rinse with water), and cooled compressed air can reduce the temperature of flanges and electrical components. You can also use an acidic cleaning solution to clean alkaline scars, but note that level measurement cannot be performed during cleaning.
3.About the effect of foam on measurement
The material level in actual working conditions often contains foam. Dry foam and wet foam can reflect the radar wave back without affecting the measurement. Neutral foam will absorb and diffuse the radar wave, so it will seriously affect the reflection of the echo and even cause no reflection. Echo. When the surface of the medium is thick and thick foam, the measurement error is large or cannot be measured. In this situation, the radar level gauge has no advantage, which is the limitation of its application.
4.The level gauge antenna is submerged
We can change the radar level gauge to a guided wave tube measurement. The guided wave tube radar level gauge is still installed at the original opening. The guided wave tube is about 0.2m higher than the exhaust pipe. In this way, even if the slurry overflows from the exhaust pipe, the level meter will not be caused. The antenna is submerged by the slurry, and the interference of the vortex of the stirrer and a large amount of steam from the probe are avoided, which reduces the damage to the probe. At the same time, due to the good focusing effect of the waveguide, the received radar wave signal is stronger. Good measurement results.
